Bonjour Brittany!

Cabernet set off from Conwy on Thurs - the three men in a boat (John, Colin and Ken)were freezing cold but sailed non-stop to Penzance, arriving early Saturday morning. Had a few guinness moments ashore and headed off across the channel on Sunday afternoon. They stopped briefly in L'Aber Wrach on the north coast of Brittany to wait for the tide and then had beautiful weather, arriving in Brest 2250 local time on Monday eve. I hope they've eaten the Fray Bentos pies on board! We're going to be in Brest for a good few days as we recover from our respective trips and decide where to drift to next.

The beginning...

As you have wanted to set up a blog for a while Mum, I thought instead of just buying you some flowers that Stuart would undoubtedly kill, I would set up a blog up for you (and Dad if he ever feels the need to blog). This way your loving friends and family can follow your exploits as you spend our inheritance in exotic locations around the world!
